Sipi regional police has passed out 1058 police constables after successful completion of their training , during a ceremony held in kapchorwa boma grounds . The pass out marked a key milestone in preparations to ensure safety abd order during the forthcoming electoral processes in the sebei sub region .

The ceremony was presided over by Hon . Chemonged William , the member of parliament for kapchorwa district , who was the Guest of honour . Hon chemonges who doubles as the Sebei parliamentary Caucus chief whip ,commended the police leadership for strengthening election preparedness through recruitment and training of the election constables
He urged the newly passed out officers to execute their duties with professionalism , neutrality  and discipline , emphasizing that police play a critical role in safeguarding democracy and public confidence during elections . Hon William further reminded the constables to uphold the rule of law , respect human rights  and avoid political influence while on duty .

Police commanders present highlighted that the election constables will be deployed across the region to support police officers in maintaining law and order before , durinh and after elections . The ceremony attracted local leaders , security officials and members of the public
