Kween District, Uganda – In a strongly worded message to the Kwosir Seed Secondary School community,Aspiring Member of Parliament Jacob Chelogoi has come out to condemn what he termed as an attempt by the current area Member of Parliament, Hon. William, to auction a vehicle he (Chelogoi) had earlier donated to the school.

In a message shared on Saturday afternoon, Chelogoi expressed deep concern over the MP’s intentions to either sell or auction the donated car.
“Good afternoon Kwosir Seed family, greetings this afternoon,” began Chelogoi. “It’s with great concern that the Hon. MP William traveled to Kwosir with intentions to sell or auction the car which I offered as a donation. I want to state categorically clear that the car is not for sale.”
He cautioned the school administration against yielding to what he described as “petty interests” of a leader with a history of retrieving donations after elections. Chelogoi cited a previous case involving a yellow double cabin vehicle that was allegedly donated to the sub-county by the same MP but later taken back.
“Such a spirit has been extended by him to Kwosir Seed School, where I fully donated the motor vehicle for school use and running,” he emphasized. “It’s unfortunate the MP geared up this morning in a stampede to retrieve the car in the name of auction. I totally disagree.”
Chelogoi concluded by urging the MP to focus his energy on making his own contributions to the school instead of attempting to take away a donation made by another leader.
